2. What personal data we collect

• Contact details — name, phone, email when you call, WhatsApp, or submit the quote form.
• Vehicle details — registration, make, model, year. Required to look up key codes and quote correctly.
• Location — postcode or address where you want us to attend.
• Identification — a glance at your V5C and photo ID at the point of service. We do not photograph or retain copies.
• Payment — handled by our card processor; card numbers are never stored.

3. Why we collect it

To quote, schedule, deliver and invoice the service; to verify lawful ownership of the vehicle; to comply with HMRC record-keeping; to respond to queries and complaints.

4. Lawful basis

Contract (service you ask us to perform); legitimate interest (ownership verification, fraud prevention); legal obligation (HMRC retention).

5. How long we keep data

• Enquiries that did not become a job: 12 months from last contact.
• Completed-work records (invoice, vehicle reg, work): 6 years for HMRC.
• Marketing consent records: until withdrawn.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your data. We use third-party processors for hosting, communications and payments. They handle data on our behalf under written contract and may not use it for any other purpose.
